R417A mixed refrigerant is composed of R134a refrigerant, R125 refrigerant and R600 refrigerant. It is a colorless gas at normal temperature and a colorless transparent liquid under its own pressure.

Application

R417A refrigerant is a long-term solution to replace R22. It is very close to the operating pressure and efficiency of R22 without any change to the equipment and system. It is suitable for all kinds of air conditioning and refrigeration units using R22. It can be miscible with existing refrigeration oil and is suitable for typical R22 direct expansion (DX) system. At present, R417A accounts for more than 80% of the replacement refrigerant market in Europe. It is widely used in the replacement of central air-conditioning refrigerants in shopping malls, hotels, supermarkets and offices. Its characteristics of energy saving, environmental protection, high efficiency and simple replacement (without replacing compressors and expansion valves) make it the preferred product to replace R22 in Europe. In particular, the air source heat pump water heater is the preferred new energy-saving refrigerant.

Storage and transportation

R417A refrigerant cylinder is a pressurized container. It should be stored away from kindling, heat source and direct sunlight. It is usually stored in a cool, dry and ventilated warehouse; Handle with care to prevent damage to steel cylinders, valves and other accessories.

Matching refrigerant oil

What kind of refrigerant oil R417A refrigerant will eventually use in different equipment and different application sites should be determined according to the recommendations of the refrigeration compressor and refrigeration (air conditioning) equipment manufacturers, or according to the specific conditions of the refrigeration compressor and refrigeration equipment, the refrigerator lubricating oil with the same design and the requirements of the technician should be used, that is, the equivalent refrigerant oil should be used.
